Spots or "rust" on the stainless steel bottom are caused by the minerals in the water. The inner stainless steel bottom has been treated with anti-oxidation technology, but it cannot entirely prevent mineral deposits. Boiling a pot of lemonade can help wash away these spots.

Our recommendation is to heat more than 500ml of water at a time, as this is still a very fast process.

To clean the kettle with vinegar, add 2 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar, then boil the mixture and let it sit for an hour. Afterwards, pour out the mixture and wipe off any remaining scaling with a non-abrasive cloth, sponge, or cleaning brush. Repeat as needed.
